Job summary

Metro Group Inc. is a dynamic metal recycling company seeking a capable Yard Foreman to lead our yard operations in Ogden, Utah.

You will supervise the yard crew, manage inventory, coordinate equipment usage, and ensure safety and customer service standards in a fast-paced environment. We offer strong benefits, including PTO from day one, medical/dental, vision, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 1-2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
  • General computer skills; training provided.

What You'll Do:
  • Master the Yard: From forklifts to material handlers, you'll operate it all. And you'll help others become masters too.
  • Captain of Organization: Keeping our yard shipshape is your mission. Your knack for efficiency will shine as you optimize our material storage systems.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 1-2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
  • General computer skills (specific software training provided).
  • A passion for staying organized and getting things done.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Physical strength to handle up to 50 pounds and perform various tasks.
Work Schedule:
  • Four days a week, Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm and Saturdays from 8 am to 2 pm. Sundays and one weekday off for a work-life balance.
