Job summary

Western States Equipment Co in Lewiston, Idaho is seeking an experienced Yard Operations and Inventory Associate to manage daily logistics for receiving, staging and shipping equipment and attachments. You will use CAT Inspect, Return to Ready, and Microsoft Dynamics AX to track equipment status and location.

Responsibilities include inspecting equipment, maintaining steam-cleaning areas, responding to inquiries, and coordinating facility needs.

Qualifications

Proof of high school diploma or GED.
Minimum of one-year operating or certification in construction equipment preferred.
Minimum of 6 months inventory and logistics preferred.
Valid driver’s license and excellent driving record required.
Must be able to communicate in English.

Responsibilities

Manages day-to-day logistics for receiving, staging, and shipping equipment and attachments in the yard.
Uses inventory software to report equipment availability, conditions, and location.
Inspects new/used equipment for damage and fuel levels; assists rental department as needed.
Steam-cleans equipment and maintains a safe, clean steam-cleaning area.
Responds promptly to client, employee, and vendor inquiries.
Coordinates facilities requests via the Facilities Power App and communicates with the Store Manager.
Supports yard budget through preventive maintenance and CPRMP tasks.
