Job summary

Western States Equipment is seeking a dedicated team member for yard operations and equipment handling in Idaho. Responsibilities include inventory, shipping/receiving documentation, steam cleaning, and safeguarding equipment with proper load securement.

Qualifications

• Proven customer service skills.
• Knowledge and use of Microsoft computer products or other comparable systems required.
• Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with others.
• Consistent attendance and timeliness.
• Ability to work overtime with little or no notice.

Responsibilities

• Completes logistics documentation for shipping and receiving equipment.
• Maintains data inventory for accurate reporting on equipment availability.
• Steam cleans equipment and keeps steam-cleaning area clean and free of debris.
• Maintains organization and appearance of the yard with proper staging and display of equipment and attachments.
• Ensures proper load securement and safe transport of all equipment leaving the yard.
• May assist technicians with minor repairs or maintenance on returned machines.
• Supports Contamination Control tasks and inspects equipment upon customer return for damage, fuel levels and attachments.
• Handles inquiries in a prompt and friendly manner and communicates daily with Yard Lead and Yard Operations Manager.
