Job summary

Bobcat is seeking a Yard Attendant to join our team. This role loads and unloads materials, operates equipment, and ensures a rent-ready fleet while delivering excellent customer service. You will work with Sales, Service and Parts to keep customers satisfied and follow safety guidelines daily.

Open Monday to Friday, 7am–5pm, with full-time hours and strong benefits. Requires HS diploma or GED and outdoor work readiness in varied climates.

Qualifications

• Minimum H.S Diploma or GED.
• 2+ years' experience in equipment service operations.
• Experience with construction equipment skid steer, excavator, wheel loader, etc. (preferred).
• Experience in the rental industry (preferred).
• Must be able to work outdoors in various climates all year round.
• Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude required.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications and business systems.
• Efficient and responsible use of email.
• Must be able to learn company designated software within a reasonable amount of time allotted.

Responsibilities

• Keep yard neat and orderly.
• Operate Bobcat and related equipment to load/unload materials from trucks/ trailers.
• Conduct daily equipment and preventative maintenance inspections.
• Provide superior customer service in person and over the phone.
• Solve problems with discretion and refer situations as needed.
• Prepare and maintain a rent-ready fleet.
• Coordinate with Sales, Service and Parts to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Follow all safety guidelines.
