Job summary

Aksela is seeking a Yard Coordinator to manage the daily organization of foundation drilling equipment in the yard, oversee shipping and receiving, and support assembly and inventory control to keep operations flowing.

The role emphasizes keeping gear rent-ready, maintaining safe yard conditions, and coordinating with rental coordinators or sales to locate equipment. Candidates should be detail-oriented and capable of basic repairs.

Qualifications

• Responsible for general maintenance, tracking and organization of equipment in the yard.
• Handles shipping/receiving, assembly, and inventory control.
• Ensures equipment is ready for rent with proper tagging and cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and tracks all shipping and receiving of equipment within yard.
• Loads/unloads machines and prepares paperwork with pre/post inspections.
• Maintains yard inventory and uploads photos to the files.
• Organizes yard to keep a safe environment for customers and staff.
• Keeps equipment neat, clean, fueled, and properly tagged.
• Performs small repairs and maintenance on yard tools and gear.
• Ensures parts are pulled and received when ordered.
• Stencils ID numbers on attachments and equipment.
• Delivery of parts when necessary
• Performs general yard upkeep and maintenance, including snow removal
