Job summary

Performance Foodservice in Alabama is seeking a Yard Driver, Non-CDL, to move tractor trailers on company property, load docks, and parking areas. You will help ensure timeliness and safety while representing the company with customers and vendors.

The role requires a valid non-commercial license, a clean MVR, and flexibility for local driving. Training is provided, with competitive pay and benefits package included.

Qualifications

• 6+ months driving experience
• Valid non-commercial driver’s license
• Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable)
• Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check

Responsibilities

• Performs inspections and moves trailers safely following all DOT regulations and company safe-driving policies.
• Fuels, moves, and parks tractors and trailers to the docks.
• Transports tractor trailers to offsite maintenance and/or inspection facilities; requires local city driving.
• Secures trucks, trailers, and equipment always. Completes all required documentation.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.]
