Job summary

Performance Food Group in Alabama is seeking a Yard Driver, Non-CDL, to transport tractor trailers on company property. You will move trailers to docks, load/unload, and ensure safe, timely parking and documentation.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, 6+ months driving experience, a valid non-commercial license, and compliance with DOT regulations. Starting pay is $17.50 per hour with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent required.
• 6+ months driving experience required.
• Clean MVR and ability to pass background checks and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Inspects and moves trailers safely, following DOT regulations and company policies.
• Fuels, moves, and parks tractors and trailers at loading docks.
• Transports tractors to offsite maintenance/inspection facilities as needed.
• Secures trucks, completes required paperwork, and communicates with customers and teammates.
• Performs other duties as assigned to support operations.
