Job summary

Xpress Global Systems is seeking a dependable Yard Driver / Hostler II to move tractors and trailers within our yard in Tracy, CA. This role focuses on safely positioning equipment at dock doors, staging trailers, and supporting daily yard operations.

Shifts are Monday–Friday, starting at 3 PM, with a pay rate of $25.53 per hour. Candidates must hold a valid Class A license, have at least 24 months of yard driving experience, and be 23 years old or older.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class A license.
• Minimum 24 months yard driving experience.
• You must be at least 23 years old.

Responsibilities

• Move tractors and trailers within the yard to designated dock doors, staging areas, and parking locations
• Perform yard checks to ensure trailers are properly positioned and secured
• Conduct pre- and post-move inspections of yard equipment and report any issues
• Communicate with warehouse and operations staff to prioritize trailer moves
• Maintain accurate yard organization and assist with overall yard flow
• Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and DOT regulations
• Keep yard areas clean, orderly, and free of hazards

• Valid Class A License:
  • Must hold a valid Class A license in order to qualify for this position.
• 24 Months Experience:
