Job summary

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years old.
• Hold a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License.
• Current DOT Medical Card and be able to pass pre-employment drug and criminal background screen.
• Minimum 3 months spotting experience using yard horses and/or spotter trucks preferred.
• In good physical condition and able to stand, sit, kneel, bend, lift, push, pull for extended periods.
• Able to work in all environments and weather; read, speak, write and understand English.
• Legally eligible to work in the U.S. and pass pre-hire drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Make 25-35 moves per day with straight-trucks and tractor-trailers using spotter trucks and day cabs.
• Shuttle to/from plants and fueling pumps; most work in the yard.
• Check mechanical aspects of the vehicle and report issues.
• Report fueling, unit status, and any mechanical concerns.
• Back tractor trailer and box trucks into docks with care.

• Minimum 3 months of spotting experience using yard horse and/or spotter truck highly preferred.
• Be in excellent physical condition and be able to stand, sit, kneel, bend, lift, push, pull for extended periods and have normal use of senses.
• Able to work in all types of environments and under difficult conditions; hot, cold, dust, indoors, outdoors.
• Legally eligible to work in the U.S.
• Must be able to read, speak, write, and understand English.
• Must pass pre-hire drug screen and physical.
• Be able to lift, push, pull 50 pounds with no assistance.

Job Description:Responsibilities
