Job summary

Clean Harbors is seeking a Yard Driver for our Baltimore, MD facility to move trailers and equipment within a yard setting. The role operates during the 2nd shift (3pm-11pm) with pay of $24 plus a $1.75 SD pay, and requires safety-focused work in a distribution environment.

The position includes training, benefits after 30 days, a 401K with company matching, and opportunities for growth. You will coordinate with dock and operating staff to ensure smooth yard operations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• 1+ years of related experience.
• Forklift experience preferred (Not Required).
• Ability to use computer.
• Ability to lift 50 or more pounds.

Responsibilities

• Move trailers, tankers, and cans between docks, staging areas, and yard parking areas.
• Operate yard trucks safely and perform basic equipment checks.
• Keep the yard organized and accessible for incoming/outgoing trucks.
• Report mechanical issues and ensure loads are secured before movement.
• Track equipment locations and communicate with managers and drivers.
