Job summary

Hale Trailer Brake & Wheel, Inc is seeking a Yard Jockey with a CDL A to join our Baltimore, MD team. The role includes yard staging, moving trailers to shop for repairs, and coordinating with the Service Department. Expect outdoor work in varying weather and strict adherence to DOT/OSHA policies.

Qualifications

• 2+ years trailer driving experience
• Current CDL Class A license with medical certification
• No accidents, suspensions or moving violations in past 3 years
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work outdoors

Responsibilities

• Perform yard utility functions and staging trailers in yard
• Assist technicians and shop personnel with moving equipment
• Operate a forklift for stacking/de-stacking containers
• Perform routine inspections of yard equipment and report maintenance needs
• Maintain order and cleanliness of yard, shop and surrounding property
• Support snow removal, landscaping, and seasonal tasks
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Adhere to safety policies and company regulations
