The role requires at least 1 year of tractor trailer experience, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in all weather, and perform daily pre-trip inspections. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential to keep yard operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Highschool diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 1 year experience driving a tractor trailer.
• Organizational skills and ability to follow instructions.
• Effective verbal communication and communication over the phone.
• Ability to occasionally lift over 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
• Ability to push and pull up to 80 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to ascend and descend ladders.

Job Overview: The Driver is a vital member of the Fremont Operations team within RMG. The Driver is responsible for the transportation of containers within the facility using the Shag trucks. The operations are fast paced and require individuals to effectively communicate when handling heavy equipment. The Driver must maintain a safe yet efficient mindset when operating shag trucks to best assist and support with the successful onward movement of customer cargoes.
