GE Appliances, a Haier company, in Decatur, AL, is seeking a Warehouse Yard Dog Operator for full-time work in a manufacturing environment. You will move finished units, load railcars or trailers, and support production logistics in a high-volume facility.

Responsibilities include forklift operation, yard dog handling, scanner-based transfers, and railcar movement, with safety as a priority. Requires English communication and the ability to pass background/drug screening.

Qualifications

• Experience operating forklift and yard dog in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• CDL license preferred or equivalent yard dog experience.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work around moving machines (robots, forklifts).
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a forklift to move product with Basiloid attachment.
• Move trailers with yard dog to docks and loading areas.
• Use scanner to transfer units from storage to shipment.
• Operate Track-mobile to move railcars for loading and unloading.
