Job summary

Americold is seeking an on-site Warehouse/Truck Operator to drive shuttle and/or semi-trucks, load and unload trailers, and maintain safe operations on the premises. You will perform routine vehicle checks, operate docking equipment, and manage on-site paperwork and product labeling.

A forklift certification and a clean driving record are preferred. Responsibilities include ensuring vehicle safety, following safety regulations, and collaborating with supervisors to maintain efficient warehouse

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• May require current and valid forklift certification.
• Clean driving record with limited moving violations in recent years.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate shuttle truck and/or semi-truck to transport trailers on site.
• Chock wheels before loading/unloading and manage trailer doors and safety devices.
• Ensure trucks and trailers are secure, check oil, water, fuel, air, seals; report issues.
• Handle loading/unloading using forklift, pallet jack, or dock loader; report damage or hazards.
• Maintain paperwork, inventories, label/sort/wrap product, and keep area clean.
