Job summary

Americold Logistics LLC is seeking a shuttle truck driver to transport trailers around the premises in compliance with safety rules. You will chock wheels, operate doors, and perform routine maintenance checks while loading, unloading, and handling paperwork.

The role requires accuracy, basic math, and good communication with supervisors and coworkers. A forklift certification may be required, and a valid high school diploma or GED is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• May require forklift certification.
• No moving violation citations: no more than 1 in 12 months, and no more than 3 in 3 years.
• No DUI citations.

Responsibilities

• Chocks rear wheels and operates trailer doors; installs/removes safety devices as needed.
• Ensures trucks and trailers are secure and in working order; reports issues to supervisor.
• Loads/unloads using forklift, pallet jack or dock loader; moves products accordingly.
• Obtains and maintains required paperwork; inventories products and labels and wraps items.
• Keeps work area free of debris and obstacles; sweeps as needed.
• Performs other driving and warehouse duties as required.
