UPS is seeking a dispatcher/leader to oversee Small Package dispatch activity, ensuring timely service, safety, and cost goals. The role coordinates planning, staffing, and equipment, monitors loads, and optimizes yard operations to keep trailers in the correct locations.

The candidate will review reports, adjust plans for new customers/locations, and supervise drivers to meet performance targets in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree or international equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift 70 lbs./32 kgs.
• Flexible shift hours up to 5 days per week.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Management experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Reviews driver hours to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Conducts hazardous materials audits.
• Reviews safety reports.
• Verifies appropriate driver uniforms and safe work methods.
• Determines training needs for continuous development plans.
• Provides feedback and support to staff.
• Conducts performance evaluations and resolves issues.
