Job summary

LKQ Corporation is recruiting for a Parts Handler to perform day-to-day yard or warehouse duties, ensuring safe and efficient handling of automotive parts. Responsibilities include locating, retrieving, packaging, and labeling parts; pulling and prepping orders; and using hand and power tools as needed.

The role requires basic math, attention to detail, and reliability, with physical stamina for lifting up to 75–100 pounds and occasional overtime. A High School Diploma or GED is required.

This position may be directed by the Production/Yard Leader to assure that the parts are handled in a safe, efficient, and proper manner.Essential Job DutiesSafely maneuver around the yard or warehouse.Find/Retrieve parts.Package parts for delivery/or preppingAny paperwork involved with the parts.Pull work orders.Use hand tools and power tools to remove parts from cars.Operate a powered industrial truck (forklift) or order picker.Pull and prep all sheet metal and other orders.Tag all parts properly for the destination.Communicate with Sales and Dispatch.Must display a positive and friendly attitude as well as appropriate behavior during work hours.Cleanliness must be maintained in the work area.Assume other duties as assigned.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesNot responsible for supervising employees.Minimum RequirementsEducation & ExperienceHigh School Diploma/GED.Preferred RequirementsA working knowledge of automotive parts.Knowledge/Skills/AbilitiesAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
