Job summary

Ashby Lumber Co Inc is seeking a warehouse associate in Concord, CA to assist customers with orders and vehicle loading. The role requires standing/walking for long periods, safety awareness, and the ability to operate heavy machinery such as forklifts.

Responsibilities include stocking lumber, directing yard traffic, and maintaining safe work practices. Prior forklift experience is preferred; training may be provided. This is a full-time, outdoor-warehouse position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. repeatedly.
• Must be able to stand/walk for 8 hours.
• Forklift experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with orders and loading their vehicles.
• Direct traffic and help fill customer orders in a timely manner.
• Stock lumber and other products in designated areas and keep aisles clear.
• Safely operate forklifts for loading, stocking, and building orders.
• Use a two-way radio to communicate in the yard.
