Job summary

Ashby Lumber Co Inc is seeking a Warehouse Receiving Associate in Concord, CA. You will unload freight, verify items against packing slips, and place products in correct locations.

You will also assist with loading deliveries and handling Will Call orders, while maintaining a clean, safe warehouse environment. You will coordinate with sales and customers to confirm arrivals, update paperwork, and support cycle counts as needed, contributing to efficient receiving operations and daily warehouse

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Unload inbound freight and verify quantities per packing slip.
• Update orders and place items in correct locations.
• Assist loading trucks for deliveries and Will Call requests.
• Inform customers when products arrive and are ready for pickup.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Assist cycle counts and coordinate with sales as needed.
