Job summary

Barnhart Crane & Rigging is hiring a Crane Operator to operate a 300-ton+ truck crane in the yard, perform daily lifting operations and load testing, and support ongoing maintenance while assisting with transport operations across sites.

This permanent, full-time role offers competitive pay, weekly pay, a 401(k) with company match up to 10%, and benefits after 90 days, including medical, dental and vision. Expect paid time off, safety-focused culture, and strong growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• NCCCO certification(s): LBT/LBC.
• Strong commitment to safety and communication on job sites.
• Experience operating AT, hydraulic, or boom truck cranes (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Operate a 300-ton+ truck crane in the yard.
• Perform daily lifting operations and load testing.
• Support crane preventative and corrective maintenance.
• Assist with transport operations including trucks, trailers, and specialized equipment.
• Maintain forklifts and other supportive equipment.
• Help ensure safe lifting through load control and communication with rigging crews.
