Yancey Bros. Co. is seeking a Yard Coordinator to manage the yard, operate forklifts to load and unload rental equipment, and perform monthly inventory spot checks.

Ideal candidates have mechanical aptitude, a clean driving record, basic computer skills, and the ability to multitask and provide excellent customer service in a safety-conscious environment.

Responsibilities

Load and unload generators, compressors, and HVAC equipment.
Stage outgoing rental equipment for delivery.
Count and bundle various cable and distro.
Check in / Check out assets going on and coming off rent.
Wash returned rental equipment.
Maintain outside facilities and organize machines on the yard.
Inventory spot checks of equipment on yard.

What You Will Be Doing

The Yard Coordinator is responsible for the overall organization and movement on the yard. The Yard Coordinator will operate forklifts to load and unload rental equipment. The position is also responsible for completing monthly inventory spot checks of rental equipment on the yard.

Primary Responsibilities

Load and unload generators, compressors, and HVAC equipment.
Stage outgoing rental equipment for delivery.
Counting and bundling various cable and distro.
Check in/ Check out assets going on and coming off rent.
Wash returned rental equipment.
Maintain outside facilities to include organizing machines on the yard.
Inventory spot checks of equipment on yard.

Additional Responsibilities

Forklift inspections
Participate in required safety program, and work in a safe manner.
Additional duties as assigned by manager.

To be successful in this position you should have a mechanical aptitude, be organized, and have the ability to operate different types of heavy equipment. You should have basic computer skills, a clean driving record and be safety conscious. The ability to multitask, problem‑solve and provide superior customer service are essential to this position as well.

Education/Experience

High school or equivalent
