Job summary

Master Halco Fence & Deck Supply — a leading fence and deck products company — is seeking a Yard Associate at our Texas branch. You will load/unload trailers, pull products from the yard, and keep stock organized while delivering strong customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include forklift operation, unloading shipments, and assisting with order accuracy. Candidate must have 1+ year warehouse/yard experience and the ability to lift up to 60 lbs, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in a warehouse/yard position.
• Able to lift/move heavy materials up to 60 lbs.
• Ability to read, write and perform basic math functions.

Responsibilities

• Review order documents to prepare for accurate product pulling for customers.
• Drive forklift for loading/unloading trailers (roughly 70%).
• Sort and stage material in the yard and maintain yard stock.
• Unload and load trucks and ensure safe operations.
• Maintain a clean, organized yard and assist team for branch success.

This position performs an array of functions including

• Review order documents to prepare for accurate product pulling for customers


• Daily expectations 70% Drive forklift loading/unloading trailers. 30% Manually sorting and staging material in the yard.


• Safely use a forklift


• Maintain yard stock in a clean and organized manner

• Works inside the warehouse and outside in the yard


• Accurately loads trucks for outgoing shipments


• Inbound material receiving and put away


• Able to complete work orders and receiving documents accurately


• Pulls and prepares orders, packaging for shipment


• Rotates yard stock and safely moves materials using a forklift


• Maintains clean and safe working environment


• Works with team to ensure branch success and provides excellent customer service


• 1+ year experience in a warehouse/yard position


• Able to lift/move heavy materials (up to 60lbs) on occasion


• Forklift experience (sitdown) highly desired


• Ability to read, write and perform basic math functions required


• Must be able to work overtime as needed
