Job summary

Heritage Family of Companies is seeking a full-time Yard Associate in Noblesville, IN. You will support daily yard and warehouse operations, manage material receiving, stocking, and organization, and maintain safety standards while delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities include moving and stocking inventory, loading/unloading materials, operating forklifts and loaders, and verifying orders to meet delivery deadlines.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old and able to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Experience loading operating a front end loader or other large construction machinery.
• Background and drug screening required.
• Outdoor/indoor yard jobs in a warehouse environment are expected.

Heritage Family of Companies is seeking a Full-time Yard Associate who will be responsible for supporting daily yard and warehouse operations, including material receiving, stocking, and organization, while adhering to safety standards and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Move, stock, and organize products in yard and warehouse to keep inventory accurate and easy to find.
• Load and unload materials from customer and company vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment while following all safety rules.
• Experience loading operating a front end loader or other large construction machinery
• Keep the yard and warehouse clean, organized, and free of hazards to ensure a safe and efficient workspace.
• Must follow all safety guidelines, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) and using proper lifting techniques.
• Check/verify orders, complete shipping & receiving paperwork, and work with team members to meet delivery deadlines.
• Assist with other warehouse or yard tasks as needed.

Physical Requirements

• Ability and to lift and handle freight/materials up to 75 pounds continuously throughout the workday.
• Ability to move heavy products in busy warehouses and/or outdoor yards, using equipment such as forklifts, front end loader or pallet jacks, and involves active physical work.
• Work performed in an outdoor setting/warehouse environment in conditions like noise, hot or cold temperatures

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to lift and handle freight/materials up to 75 pounds throughout the workday.
• Experience loading operating a front end loader or other large construction machinery
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
• Prior experience in hands-on, outdoor/indoor yard/warehouse, operational work or similar environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent of education and experience
• Must pass background screening and drug screening.
