The Yard Associate plays a critical role in our daily supply and warehouse operations. This position is a hands‑on role that is responsible for managing inventory, preparing orders, and providing exceptional service to our diverse customer base, including contractors and municipalities. We are seeking a hardworking, mechanically inclined individual who values safety, thrives in a fast‑paced environment, and is eager to grow within our employee‑owned organization.
Work with a wide range of customers to sell pavement maintenance products, including asphalt sealers, crack sealers, line striping paint, and hand tools.
Provide excellent customer service across the yard, warehouse, and plant environments.
Load and unload trucks efficiently via pumps, by hand, and by operating a forklift.
Clean, inspect, and perform maintenance or light mechanical work on rental equipment upon return.
Maintain showroom, warehouse, and yard appearance standards, including organizing and displaying merchandise.
Ensure safety remains the number one priority in all daily activities and operations.
Perform general cleaning duties of the warehouse and yard to meet strict safety and appearance standards.
Report directly to the Plant Manager and complete other duties as assigned.
Strong work ethic and team‑first mindset
Valid driver’s license with a relatively clean motor vehicle record
2+ years of customer service experience preferred
Forklift experience (2+ years preferred)
General mechanical aptitude or willingness to learn
Basic computer and point of sale (POS) system skills
Ability to lift heavy materials, stand for extended periods, and perform physical labor
Ability to work 40–60 hours per week, including weekends
