Job summary

BROTHERS Pro-Pave LLC is seeking a reliable Yard Laborer to support day-to-day operations in the yard and storage areas. The role involves keeping the yard organized, handling materials, and assisting crews with tools and supplies in an outdoor setting.

The ideal candidate should be physically capable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently. Prior yard or construction experience and the ability to lift 50–75 lbs are preferred. Valid driver’s license is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in yard/warehouse/construction environments preferred.
• Able to lift 50–75 lbs and work outdoors in all weather.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and construction materials/equipment.
• Forklift experience and certification is a plus (or willing to obtain).
• Strong work ethic, reliable, and willing to learn.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment from trucks and trailers.
• Organize and maintain yard inventory and keep areas clean and hazard-free.
• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of yard equipment and spaces.
• Assist mechanics or operators with fueling, greasing, or light maintenance tasks.
• Operate forklifts, skid steers, or other yard equipment if certified/trained.
• Stage materials for crews or deliveries and track inventory.

Job Summary -

We are looking for a hardworking and dependable Yard Laborer to support day-to-day operations in our yard and storage areas. This role is responsible for keeping the yard organized, assisting with material handling, cleaning, loading and unloading equipment, and supporting crews with tools and supplies as needed. The ideal candidate is physically capable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently in an outdoor environment.

Key Responsibilities -

• Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment from trucks and trailers
• Organize and maintain yard inventory, keeping areas clean and hazard-free
• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of yard equipment and workspaces
• Assist mechanics or operators with fueling, greasing, or light maintenance tasks
• Operate forklifts, skid steers, or other yard equipment (if certified/trained)
• Stage materials and equipment for outgoing crews or incoming deliveries
• Track materials and supplies and notify supervisor of low inventory or damage
• Follow company safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE
• Assist with snow removal, storm prep, or other seasonal yard duties as required
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Yard Foreman or Supervisor
