Job summary

PERI is seeking a Yard Associate to support the stockyard operations. The role involves performing manual tasks across departments, loading and unloading materials, assisting with inventory, and safely operating forklifts to support efficient yard workflows.

This position requires strong attention to detail, basic math skills, and the ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions. On-the-job training is provided, with opportunities to mentor new hires and input data via handheld devices.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following safety and housekeeping processes and procedures.
• Assist in coaching and mentoring new hires during the onboarding process.
• Accurately and efficiently input data using handheld technology or similar devices to track and maintain accurate order counts and shipment data.
• Assist craft workers as required.

PERI is currently seeking a Yard Associate to join our team. The primary role of the Yard Associate is to perform various manual tasks to support operations within the PERI stockyard. This involves working in different departments within the stockyard and completing assigned tasks based on current needs. Leveraging PERI's resources, the Yard Associate, along with the team, works towards maintaining a Safety-First Culture.

Additional Information

PERI Offers a competitive benefits package which includes medical, dental, vision, supplemental options, 401k retirement with company match, paid holidays, sick leave, and paid time off. The allocated hourly wage for this position is $19.50 an hour.
