Job summary

PERI in Elkridge, MD is seeking a Yard Associate to support stockyard operations and maintain a safe, organized work environment. You will perform manual tasks, load/unload materials, assist with inventory, and help other departments as needed.

Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, able to lift up to 50 lbs, and comfortable using basic tools. On-the-job training is provided along with a comprehensive benefits package and an hourly wage of $19.50.

Responsibilities

• Operate powered industrial equipment, including forklifts, safely and efficiently.

• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following safety and housekeeping processes and procedures.
• Assist in coaching and mentoring new hires during the onboarding process.
• Accurately and efficiently input data using handheld technology or similar devices to track and maintain accurate order counts and shipment data.
• Assist craft workers as required.

PERI is currently seeking a Yard Associate to join our team. The primary role of the Yard Associate is to perform various manual tasks to support operations within the PERI stockyard. This involves working in different departments within the stockyard and completing assigned tasks based on current needs. Leveraging PERI's resources, the Yard Associate, along with the team, works towards maintaining a Safety-First Culture.

PERI Offers a competitive benefits package which includes medical, dental, vision, supplemental options, 401k retirement with company match, paid holidays, sick leave, and paid time off. The allocated hourly wage for this position is $19.50 an hour.
