Job summary

Southwest Boulder & Stone is hiring a Gardena, CA yard assistant to greet customers, assist with product selection, and load vehicles. You’ll weigh trucks, coordinate yard upkeep, and help drivers with daily tasks in a fast-paced outdoor setting. Ideal candidates lift up to 50 lbs, have forklift know-how, and can work rotational weekends.

Responsibilities

• Meet & Greet customers
• Assist customers with product selection and sales
• Load customer vehicles, checking for accuracy
• Weigh trucks when needed
• Coordinate yard upkeep with yard foreman
• Ensure proper tagging, weighing, and storage of products
• Ensure scales and yard areas are clean of debris
• Maintain tool cleanliness and product organization/visibility in yard
• Operate equipment as needed using checklist and safety measures
• Assist Drivers when needed
• Establish sales leads from customers
• Participate in progressive training on current and new product lines
• Complete product knowledge testing

Essential Job Functions:

• Meet & Greet customers
