This role is for a well‑organized and detail‑oriented individual ready to support a multi‑state construction business like our clients through careful management and oversight of company equipment. Experience working in logistics or construction is preferred but not required.
This position is a fully onsite position at our central office in Upper Marlboro, MD. This work primarily takes place indoors with varying environmental conditions, such as fluorescent lighting and air conditioning. Exposure to outdoor elements/weather conditions may be encountered when moving between trailers/in the yard itself.
The ability to communicate orally in person and over devices with peers, vendors, contractors, clients, and construction workers is crucial. Regular use of mobile devices (talking or texting) and email for communication is essential and required for everyday tasks. Hearing and vision within normal ranges are essential for normal conversations, to receive ordinary information, and to prepare, inspect, or review documents. A pre‑employment drug test is required for all personnel. Daily job duties and responsibilities require the ability to: remain in a stationary position, move about an office/yard site effectively and frequently. Physical requirements include: the ability to ascend and descend ladders and stairs on occasion, regular exertion of up to 10 lbs. of force, occasional heavy lifting (30+ lb. / 13.6+ kg), and good manual dexterity for use of common office equipment (e.g., computers, mobile devices, copiers).
