Job summary

Derecktor Shipyards in Fort Pierce, FL is seeking a full-time, on-site Project Manager to oversee yacht and vessel repair and refit projects from start to finish. You will develop schedules, coordinate internal teams and subcontractors, and maintain clear client communications to keep projects on time and within budget.

The ideal candidate will bring strong attention to detail, the ability to manage competing priorities, and a proven track record in maritime project management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field with 5+ years marine industry experience OR high school with 10+ years marine experience.
• Marine Engineer or Naval Architect background preferred.
• Experience coordinating shipyard projects and clients in maritime settings.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for project execution.
• Create project schedules and ensure resource availability.
• Ensure projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
• Manage changes to project scope, schedule and costs with verification techniques.
• Communicate with clients and stakeholders on project progress.
