Germain Yachts Center in Naples, FL is seeking a skilled Yacht Bottom Painter to prepare, prime and paint the lower hulls of yachts, delivering high-quality finishes that resist corrosion.

Apply primers and anti-fouling coatings, inspect surfaces for defects, touch up as needed, and maintain tools and work areas in a safe, organized manner.

Qualifications

• Heavy equipment operation experience required.
• Marina yard work experience preferred.
• Travel lift familiarity desired.
• Knowledge of operating, securing, rigging and de-rigging vessels beneficial.
• Experience with hand and power tools.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated team player with reliability.
• Clean driving record required.
• Permanent authorization to work in the USA; visa sponsorship not offered.

Responsibilities

• Prepare yacht bottoms by sanding, scraping, and cleaning surfaces for paint adhesion.
• Apply primers, anti-fouling paints, and coatings using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.

As a Yacht Bottom Painter, you will be responsible for preparing, priming, and painting the lower hulls of yachts, ensuring high-quality finishes that protect against corrosion and marine growth.
