Germain Yachts Center, A Germain Company in Naples, FL, is seeking a Yacht Bottom Painter to prepare, prime and paint the lower hulls of yachts. You will apply primers and anti-fouling coatings, ensuring durable finishes and compliance with safety standards.

Responsibilities include surface preparation, applying finishes with brushes or spray equipment, inspecting work for defects, maintaining a clean workspace, and collaborating with the team to meet deadlines and quality targets.

Qualifications

• Prepare yacht bottoms by sanding, scraping and cleaning to ensure paint adhesion.
• Apply primers, anti-fouling paints, and coatings using brushes, rollers or spray equipment.
• Inspect painted surfaces for defects and perform touch-ups or repairs as needed.
• Maintain equipment and work areas in a clean and safe condition.
• Follow safety and environmental regulations for paint application and disposal.
• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards.

As a Yacht Bottom Painter, you will be responsible for preparing, priming, and painting the lower hulls of yachts, ensuring high-quality finishes that protect against corrosion and marine growth. This role requires attention to detail, knowledge of paint types and application techniques, and a commitment to safety and environmental standards.

Requirements:

• Prepare yacht bottoms by sanding, scraping, and cleaning surfaces to ensure proper paint adhesion.

Qualifications:

• Heavy equipment operating experience.
• Previous marina yard work.
• Travel lift experience.
• Knowledge of operating, securing, rigging, and de‑rigging a vessel.
• Experience with hand and power tools.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Self‑motivated team player.
• Clean driving record.
• Permanent authorization to work in the USA. No visa sponsorship available.
