Job summary

YMCA Stark County is seeking a Part-time Senior Program Specialist to run senior programs for Y on the Fly across Stark County.

Shifts are Monday through Friday with class times between 9am and 2pm. The role requires dynamic interpersonal skills, CPR/AED certification (preferred but provided), fitness accreditation, ability to teach multiple formats, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Dynamic individual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• CPR and AED certification preferred, but will provide.
• Certification from nationally-recognized fitness accreditation agency.
• Able to teach multiple formats, preferred.
• Valid Drivers License.

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet the members with enthusiasm.
• Design class format appropriate for type of class and participants.
• Serve as a good role model.
• Communicate with team members.
• Address difficult situations by using the YMCA Character Values as a guide.
