Our client is seeking an experienced XStore Architect for a long-term contractor role. This position is onsite from day 1, in the office 3 days per week, in St. Louis, MO. Relocation is required; remote work is not available initially.

Responsibilities

1. Develop, modify, enhance, and maintain proprietary software systems supporting retail business initiatives.
2. Collaborate with Solution Architects, Application Architects, and other teams to create design documentation for software development.
3. Work with Scrum Masters and development teams to deliver features following Agile methodologies.
4. Coordinate with Delivery Managers and release teams to deploy software across environments.
5. Assist with fixing software defects in collaboration with Support, QA, and Business Analysts.
6. Must be a Subject Matter Expert in XStore.

Qualifications

1. At least 3 years of experience with the Xstore Suite (Xadmin, Xcenter, Xservices, Xenvironment, Xstore, xMobile, Tablet).
2. Experience with Xstore customizations, configurations, UI changes, locale adjustments, DB issues, POS deployment, debugging, device configurations, and data mapping.
3. Experience with payment integration (EFT Link/AJB) with third-party providers like FreedomPay, SixPay, or TenderRetail.
4. Proficiency with PL/SQL and Oracle DB.
5. Web application front-end or back-end experience is a plus.
6. Willingness to relocate to St. Louis, MO, and work 3 days per week onsite.
