We are excited to announce the upcoming opening of a new AFC Urgent Care clinic in Aurora, CO! All training for this location will be conducted at our existing clinics in Castle Rock and SE Aurora (E-470 & S Gartrell Rd.) prior to opening. We are looking for motivated self-starters to join our team. Bilingual (Spanish) skills are highly preferred to serve the community effectively; translation services will also be available on-site. Job Summary

Perform radiographic and diagnostic imaging procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing injuries and diseases. Assist with administrative and clinical tasks such as patient registration and medical assisting duties.

Responsibilities

1. Greet patients and explain procedures compassionately.
2. Position patients appropriately for diagnostic imaging.
3. Practice ALARA radiation protection techniques.
4. Process and review images for quality and proper identification, and prepare images for physician review and radiologist overreads.
5. Utilize digital and non-digital diagnostic imaging equipment, ensuring compliance with protocols.
6. Assist providers with prescribed treatments following standards and protocols.
7. Perform routine maintenance, diagnose malfunctions, and coordinate repairs.
8. Complete documentation and maintain records of work performed.
9. Serve as Medical Receptionist and/or Medical Assistant as needed within guidelines.
10. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or 6 months to 1 year of related experience. ARRT-registered or eligible preferred. Must be licensed per state regulation. In some states, Medical Assistant Certification, Practical Nursing License, EMT, or Paramedic certification is acceptable.
