Summary Job Description: Diagnostic Rad Tech 32 Hours Weekly, Full-Time Second Shift (4/8's; 1330-2200 Hours Worked M-F; Hours Worked Sat/Sun 1430-2300; 3 week rotating schedule; Works every 3rd weekend, Rotating Call and Holiday Rotation) Baptist Health Louisville is seeking Radiology Tech. Under the direction of the Diagnostic Team Leader and with minimal supervision, the successful candidate will perform diagnostic exams in the department, surgery, or at the bedside. This role requires producing high-quality images for radiologist review, maintaining accurate records, and completing quality control (QC) on equipment to ensure optimal operation.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include verifying patient identity and orders, adhering to departmental protocols, monitoring patient safety throughout exams, and applying radiation protection measures. The candidate will assist radiologists when needed and manage supplies and equipment maintenance reporting. Proficiency with EPIC and IMPAX systems is essential to complete and manage studies effectively.
