Job summary

Baptist Health in Lexington, KY is seeking Radiologic Technologists for all shifts, including full-time, part-time, and PRN. A $15,000 sign-on bonus is available for qualified candidates, with the Radiology team delivering high-quality imaging and compassionate patient care using advanced imaging technologies.

Requirements include completion of an accredited radiologic technology program, ARRT registry within 90 days of hire, Kentucky license in Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy, and BLS

Qualifications

  • Current ARRT Registry within 90 days of hire.
  • Current Kentucky license in Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy.
  • Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

  • Perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures using pulsed x-ray energy.
  • Produce images for interpretation by licensed practitioners.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort while maintaining professional standards.
  • Assist in utilization of advanced imaging technologies and related techniques.

Job Description

Provides health care services applying pulsed x-ray energy to assist diagnosis or treatment. Performs radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, computer processing and related techniques, producing images for the interpretation by or at the request of a licensed independent practitioner. Exercises professional judgment in performance of service and maintains a demeanor complimentary to medical ethics. Recognizes various patient conditions in order to provide appropriate patient care to ensure successful completion of the exam or procedure.

Requirements
  • Satisfactory completion of an accredited education program in radiologic technology.
  • Current American Registry Radiologic Technology (ARRT) Registry within 90 days of hire
  • Current license with the Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy
  • Current BLS Certification
