Job summary

Health Advocates Network, Inc. seeks an X-ray Technician in Soledad, CA to deliver high-quality imaging in a correctional healthcare setting. You will perform diagnostic X-ray examinations, prepare patients, and operate radiographic equipment safely and efficiently.

Shift Mon-Fri 6AM-2:30PM, 40 hours/week, at $44.25/hour. Must hold a valid CA license/certification with at least one year of related experience. Benefits include health, dental, vision, 401(k), and travel stipends.

Qualifications

• Current, valid, and unrestricted CA license/certification.
• Minimum of one year related experience within the last 3 years.
• Additional certifications may be required.
• Copy of PSV from licensing board or verification agency if required.
• Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test).

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations as ordered by physicians.
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and positioning them correctly.
• Operate radiographic equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ensure high-quality diagnostic images while minimizing patient radiation exposure.
• Follow radiation safety and infection control protocols.
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
• Verify patient identity and review physician orders prior to procedures.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current, valid, and unrestricted CA license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.

• Minimum of one (1) year related experience within the last 3 years.

• Additional certifications may be required

• Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.

• Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test, or other client-specific requirements).
