Omnicell is seeking an Automation Pharmacy Technician 4 to support the XR2 Central Pharmacy Automation System at customer sites in Pasadena, CA. You will operate the XR2 equipment, manage inventory, and troubleshoot routine issues while liaising with hospital staff to ensure safe, efficient medication workflows.

The role requires a California Pharmacy Technician license, familiarity with automation, and a customer-service mindset for onsite support and collaboration with Omnicell teams.

Qualifications

Strong customer service and interpersonal skills required.
Clear, professional communication and problem‑solving ability expected.
Mechanical aptitude and comfort with automated systems.
Proficiency in Windows, Excel, and PowerPoint expected.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Operate Omnicell XR2 automation systems at customer sites following SOPs.
Perform medication returns and restocking to optimize automation usage.
Monitor formulary inventory levels and adjust as needed.
Conduct inspections, cleaning, and preventive maintenance of XR2 equipment.
Troubleshoot at basic level and escalate complex issues to TAC.
