Job summary

Unity seeks a Software Engineer to join the XR Integrations team to develop foundational support for XR devices with the Unity Engine. You will work with partners to run experiences powered by Unity and learn and grow as a software engineer in a multidisciplinary environment.

In this role, you will implement XR features, integrate SDKs, ensure cross-platform consistency, and contribute to automated testing and code quality. A strong XR/AR/VR background and Unity experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• AR/VR/XR experience.
• C/C++ development experience.
• C# development experience.
• 3D Math proficiency.
• Willing to use AI software code generation to accelerate your work while ensuring you know our software architecture to ensure the code you submit is the right solution.

Responsibilities

• Implement XR features in the Unity engine and collaborate with XR group and external partners to deliver cohesive, user-friendly experiences.
• Integrate third-party SDKs for next-generation hardware and software platforms using Agile methodologies.
• Work with new and existing hardware platforms to deliver a consistent development experience for users.
• Write automated tests, participate in code reviews, and coordinate QA to establish standard methodologies and ensure quality of code.
