RAYUS Radiology is looking for a CT Technologist to join our team. We challenge the status quo by shining light on radiology and making it a critical first step in diagnosis and proper treatment. Come join us and shine brighter together!

As a Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist, you will operate assigned scanners to produce diagnostic images of patients' bodies. You will provide patient-centered care, ensuring professional standards and excellent customer service. Each patient seeks answers; you will guide them kindly through the process, addressing questions and concerns about exam procedures.

This is a Temporary/PRN position working shifts as needed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Patient CT Imaging (90%)

• Screen patients before exams for precautions or contradictions, using two identifiers to ensure correct patient and procedure.
• Explain and prepare patients for imaging procedures, including positioning and addressing questions.
• Perform routine and advanced scans with minimal supervision, supporting patients throughout.
• Adjust scan parameters correctly, utilizing dose reduction techniques as appropriate.
• Follow physicians' orders, conform to safety regulations, and maintain accurate patient records within RIS.
• Maintain ACR toolkit and accreditation standards.
• Keep work area and equipment orderly and safe.

Scanning Department Support (5%)

• Assist with updating imaging protocols and software upgrades.
• Monitor and request medical supplies as needed.
• Support training of new staff, providing technical expertise.

Other Tasks (5%)

• Complete additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum:

• ARRT registered technologist, current and in good standing
• Graduate of an AMA-approved radiography program
• Licensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable
• Current CPR certification
• Training and experience to perform scans independently
• CT certification

Preferred:

• Bilingual abilities
