RAYUS Radiology is looking for a CT Technologist to join our team. We are challenging the status quo by shining light on radiology and making it a critical first step in diagnosis and proper treatment. Come join us and shine brighter together!

As a Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist, you will operate assigned scanner(s) to produce diagnostic images of patients' bodies. You will provide patient-centered scanning services within professional standards and excellent customer service. Each patient seeks answers; you will guide them through the process kindly, addressing questions and concerns about the procedures.

This is a Temporary/PRN position working shifts as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Screens patient before the exam for precautions or contradictions, using two patient identifiers to ensure correct patient and procedure.
  2. Explains and prepares patients for scanning procedures, including positioning and explaining the process.
  3. Performs routine and advanced scanning procedures with minimal supervision, providing support by communicating with patients during the process.
  4. Adjusts scan parameters correctly, utilizing dose reduction techniques as appropriate.
  5. Follows physicians' orders precisely, adheres to safety regulations, and maintains accurate patient records within RIS.
  6. Maintains ACR toolkit and accreditation standards.
  7. Ensures a clean and orderly work area, promoting safety for patients and staff.
Support Tasks:
  1. Assists with updating imaging protocols and software upgrades.
  2. Monitors and requests medical supplies as needed.
  3. Supports training of new staff, sharing technical expertise.

Other tasks as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • ARRT registered technologist, in good standing.
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved radiography school.
  • State licensure as a Radiological Technologist, if applicable.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Experience to perform scanning procedures independently.
  • CT certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bilingual abilities.
