Job summary

Nexplore in Tucson, AZ is seeking an enthusiastic instructor to deliver in-person STEM, Digital Tech, Art, Life Skills, and/or Fitness sessions to PreK–12 students, with training, provided lesson plans, curriculum, and materials.

You will prepare for instruction, teach according to a fixed schedule (Mon and Thu, 3:15 PM–4:15 PM), report to a Program Success Manager, and help families engage with the program while maintaining a strong commitment to safety and inclusivity.

Qualifications

• Part-time position
• AA Degree (or higher)
• 2+ years teaching/instructing (preferred)
• Experience working with children
• Teaching degree or certificate is a PLUS
• Must commit to the full proposed schedule
• Great communication and presentation skills
• Reliable transportation
• Willing to complete mandatory training

Responsibilities

• Deliver in-person STEM, Digital Tech, Art, Life Skills and/or Fitness instruction to PreK-12 students as assigned.
• Prepare for instruction with provided lesson plans, curriculum and materials.
• Engage with students in a supportive, age-appropriate manner and follow program guidelines.
