Job summary

IPG is seeking an XPak Operator in our Production department in Carrollton, Texas. This hourly, non-exempt role operates the XPack machine, ensuring smooth start-up, feed engagement, and quality output.

You will inspect finished pieces, monitor controls, and maintain equipment with preventative maintenance tasks. The position requires focus on safety, 5S practices, and accurate record-keeping of production metrics.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to communicate in English.
• Basic math skills.
• Basic computer knowledge including AS400, Word, Excel.

Responsibilities

• Operate the XPack machine with safe, controlled start-up and feed.
• Inspect and measure pieces to verify conformance to standards.
• Monitor and adjust controls to ensure product quality.
• Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs as needed.
• Record quality and production metrics accurately and on time.
• Follow 5S guidelines and maintain a safety-first mindset.
• Perform related tasks as assigned by supervisor.
