The Assistant Facility Security Officer (AFSO) reports directly to the Facility Security Officer (FSO) and assists in the development, implementation, and maintenance of security procedures as required by the Cleared Facility, the Department of Defense (DOD), the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA), and the National Industrial Security Manual (NISPOM).
