Job summary

Stellantis is seeking a Plant Modeling and Integration Engineer to join their PRSW/HIL Plant Modeling Team in Auburn, Alabama. The role involves developing plant models for integration in HIL systems, requiring strong knowledge in Hardware-in-the-Loop systems and experience in automotive engineering.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and a minimum of 5 years of automotive industry experience. Candidates should also possess skills in modeling tools such as Matlab-Simulink and strong interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the automotive industry and Hardware in Loop/HiL.
• Experience in Model Based Development on Powertrain Applications.
• Demonstrated Hardware-In-the-Loop systems experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop plant models for HIL systems and populate models repository.
• Conduct benchmarks and evaluate new xIL technologies.
• Interface with suppliers for plant model requirements.

Skills

Experience with plant and controller modeling

Knowledge of Powertrain ICE, HEV, BEV systems

Outstanding interpersonal and problem-solving skills

Strong communication skills

C/C++ code generation

Education
