Job summary

Schaeffler Technologies AG & Co. KG is seeking a technically skilled professional to lead global industrialization, launch and improvement projects for wheel modules.

You will define machine and production line specifications and act as a steering partner to external suppliers and internal teams. The role requires a graduate degree in a technical field, 3–5 years in IE/Operations/Production or Maintenance, and demonstrated leadership experience across complex machine projects.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in mechanical engineering or technical field.
• 3 to 5 years experience in IE, Operations, Production or Maintenance.
• Leadership experience for specialists or project managers.
• Extensive experience in industrialization, maintenance or machine projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead global Industrialization, Launch and Improvement Projects for the Wheel Modules unit.
• Define machine and production line specifications for the global plant footprint.
• Act as steering partner to external machine suppliers and the SMB.
• Define and Industrialize new machines, lines and locations based on global needs.
• Conduct benchmarks for maintenance, tooling and efficiency and drive implementation.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Leading global Industrialization, Launch and Improvement Projects for the Business Unit Wheel Modules
• Define machine and production line specifications for the global plant footprint of wheel modules
• Act as steering partner to external machine suppliers and the SMB
• Define and Industrialize new machine, line and production location based on the global requirements and benchmark data
• Conduction Benchmarks for technical fields like maintenance, tooling and efficiency and steer the result implementation
• Act as leader in relocation projects, investments and capacity extensions
• Handling customer requests for machine, digitalization and automatisation requests

Your Qualifications

• Graduate Degree in Technical fields like mechanical engineering
• 3 to 5 years experience in relevant fields like IE, Operations, Production or Maintenance
• Leadership experience for specialists or project managers
• Extensive experience in industrialization, maintenace or machine projects
