Job summary

Olympia-Team Central Gymnastics in Missouri is seeking an Xcel coach to work under the Head Xcel Coach. You will promote safety, vision, leadership, and customer satisfaction while helping athletes learn gymnastics in a fun environment.

Responsibilities include implementing curriculum, effective class management, and maintaining professional conduct with athletes and parents. Evening and weekend hours required, 4–15 hours per week.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (preferred)
• 2+ years coaching competitive gymnastics (required)
• Gymnastics background and experience teaching (required)
• Advanced knowledge of gymnastics skill and progression breakdowns (required)
• Strong class management skills (required)
• Must have outstanding organizational, communication and interpersonal skills (required)
• Ability to lift equipment and spot children (required)
• 4-15 hours/week. Mostly evening hours with possibility of weekend hours.

The Xcel coach will report directly to the Head Xcel Coach. Performance expectations include, but are not limited to: Safety, Vision, Leadership, Training, Curriculum, Customer Satisfaction, Teamwork, and Company Image. Olympia/Team Central coaches are responsible for building confidence and self-esteem, while helping athletes learn proper gymnastics to the best of their ability in a safe, fun environment. Coaches are also responsible for exceptional customer care and professional conduct.
