Job summary

Telos Corporation in Ashburn, VA is seeking a dedicated Xacta Software Test Technician to deploy and maintain Xacta applications across multiple environments. You will learn cybersecurity standards, help develop and maintain new Xacta workflows, and create technical guides while supporting Tier 1 testing and issue resolution.

The role emphasizes collaboration, documentation, and adherence to the development lifecycle in a security-focused team.

Qualifications

• High School diploma with advanced training and 1-2 years of experience.
• Ability to operates computer systems to diagnose programs; troubleshoot and test systems, codes and installed applications
• Experience with application and database integration
• Strong written and verbal communications skills.
• A professional attitude regarding attention to detail.
• Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and concepts quickly.

Responsibilities

• Examine existing functionality and create guides on processes.
• Assist with Tier 1 Xacta support issue, regression Xacta Software testing and solutioning.
• Help create technical documentation, including processes, procedures, diagrams, user guides, etc.
• Support requirement gathering conversations and understand the development lifecycle.

• High School plus advanced training and 1 - 2 years of experience.
• Ability to operates computer systems to diagnose programs; troubleshoot and test systems, codes and installed applications
• Experience with application and database integration
• Strong written and verbal communications skills.
• A professional attitude regarding attention to detail.
• Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and concepts quickly.

Desired Additional skills

• College studies majors in Information Systems, Computer Science, Cybersecurity
• Knowledge and proficiency in scripting language, i.e. JavaScript, Python, etc.
• Familiarity with AI use in business practices and applications coding
• Basic PostgreSQL Database administrationExperience in cloud computing environments, AWS
• Knowledge and understanding of agile software development, DevOps and information security in the SDLC
