Job summary

UGLYCASH is seeking a storytelling-focused Social Content Creator to own its cross-platform narratives. You will collaborate with founders to identify compelling stories from launches, events, and everyday moments, turning them into engaging content across Instagram, TikTok, and X.

You will build clear content pillars, develop recurring formats, and maintain a publishing cadence. Relentless immersion in internet culture will drive tests and evolution of the narrative.

Responsibilities

• Manage UGLYCASH's cross-platform social channels (Instagram, TikTok, X).
• Own and develop the ongoing narrative across social channels.
• Collaborate with founders to identify stories and moments to turn into content.
• Create recurring storylines, formats, and arcs to retain followers.
• Translate internal launches, events, wins, and moments into compelling narratives.
• Coordinate with film creator to decide what to capture and how it becomes stories.
• Develop and maintain the social content calendar and cadence.
• Monitor internet culture trends and identify relevant opportunities.
• Experiment with storytelling to learn what resonates and evolve the narrative.

What you'll be doing:

• Manage and grow UGLYCASH's cross-platform social channels, including Instagram, TikTok, and X
• Own and develop the ongoing narrative of UGLYCASH across social
• Work closely with the founders and team to identify the stories, personalities, moments, and ideas worth turning into content

What we look for in you:

• Located in the United States and willing to move to San Francisco after hire (relocation support provided)
• You're a strong storyteller with an instinct for finding the story people actually care about.
• You have experience building and growing an audience - ideally across Instagram and a writing-led platform like Substack.
• You know how to develop clear content pillars and recurring formats that build a recognizable voice.
• You think in narratives, not just individual posts.
• You have strong editorial and creative taste and know what feels culturally relevant.
• You're deeply internet-native and understand how people consume, share, and engage with content online.
• You're strategic but hands-on - you can shape the story and make sure it gets executed.
